ABOUT OUR GOLD

We certify all Roy gold under international gold standards. Every Roy piece (either a solid gold piece, or one with gold elements) is created at an international hallmark of 750 or higher.

Specifically, all Roy gold pieces are either international 750 or international 916 gold:

-750 Gold is also referred to as 18 karat gold.

-916 Gold is also referred to as 22 karat gold.

We are guided by the international standards of both the Vienna Precious Metals Convention of 1972 and the UK Hallmarking Act of 1973.

Both Acts are the highest accepted standards which facilitate the cross-border trade of precious metals while maintaining consumer protections.

For example, under the guidance of these conventions, it is commonly understood and accepted that a 22 karat gold piece would consist of a mixture 91.6% pure gold with the remaining 8.4% composed of different metals such as nickel, copper, or in some cases silver. And a 18 karat gold piece would consist of a mixture of 75% pure gold with the remaining 25% composed of different metals such as nickel, copper, or in some cases silver.

Roy produces only 18 karat and 22 karat gold pieces. Nothing lower.

ABOUT OUR DIAMONDS

Roy Jewels only uses the highest quality natural diamonds. We certify that all Roy diamonds are inspected for both purity and sustainability.

All of our diamonds are sourced from a deep network of handpicked suppliers from around the world. Our diamonds are selected for their beauty, brilliance, radiance, superior quality, and are completely conflict-free and sustainable. Every diamond is either a VS or VVS grade diamond. Nothing lower. Ever.

We grade our diamonds on a scale exponentially more stringent than any diamond certificate process in the market. Most diamonds do not make the cut. To be considered a Roy diamond, it must be in the top 0.05% of diamonds we source. Over 99.5% of the diamonds are turned away.

Roy Diamond Guarantees:

- Ethically sourced
- Sustainable
- Conflict Free
- VS or VVS diamonds only

ABOUT OUR PLATINUM

We certify all Roy platinum under international platinum standards. Every Roy piece (either a solid platinum piece, or one with platinum elements) is created at an international hallmark of 850 or higher.

Specifically, all Roy platinum pieces are either international 850, international 900, or international 950 platinum:

850 Platinum consists of 85.0% pure platinum.
900 Platinum consists of 90.0% pure platinum.
950 Platinum consists of 95.0% pure platinum.

We are guided by the international standards of both the Vienna Precious Metals Convention of 1972 and the UK Hallmarking Act of 1973.

Both Acts are the highest accepted standards which facilitate the cross-border trade of precious metals while maintaining consumer protections.

For example, under the guidance of these conventions, it is commonly understood and accepted that an 850 platinum piece would consist of a mixture of 85.0% pure platinum with the remaining 15% composed of different metals such as iridium, palladium, or ruthenium. And a 950 platinum piece — our most refined — would consist of 95.0% pure platinum with only 5% composed of complementary alloy metals. Roy produces only 850, 900, and 950 platinum pieces. Nothing lower.

ABOUT OUR EMERALDS

We use only precious gemstones for all of our pieces. This includes our natural emeralds, sourced from across the world. Our emeralds are the emeralds of royalty.

Roy emeralds are either treated or untreated, depending on the creative needs of the individual piece. Industry standard is to immerse large emeralds in cedar oil to smooth out fractures on their surface.

We often use untreated emeralds for our pieces to enhance the unique “jardin” effect. Jardin means garden in French, and the effect is unique to every, individual untreated emerald.

Treated or untreated. It’s a Roy. And it’s 100% natural. 100% green fire.

ABOUT OUR PEARLS

All Roy pearls are cultured under the most stringent standards in Asia. Once the pearls meet our quality standards, they are delicately harvested and prepared for our jewelry. Every supplier we work with must meet our rigorous standards.

We use an internal grading system for all of our pearls that far exceeds international AA-AAAA norms. We source only Freshwater, Japanese Akoya, Tahitian, and Golden South Sea Pearls for our jewelry.

Roy Jewels is built on art. In the way we design, layer, shape, and style every piece.

Art becomes culture. Culture becomes jewelry. Jewelry is our art.

Roy Jewels actively monitors and gauges the impact of our operations on the environment. We not only measure the impact to the environment on the last leg of the supply chain – delivery to our customers, but throughout the entire supply-chain by actively vetting all vendors and suppliers. We have devised internal metrics that actively value our entire production process to minimize its impact on the environment.
